The capital will be used to finance the environmental permit at Alby Industrial Park in Ånge Municipality, where a planned production of 6,000 tons of sustainably farmed rainbow trout is expected to take place. Big Akwa has now initiated the process of obtaining a permit for the planned fish farm at the new industrial area Alby Östra outside Ånge.

Big Akwa has now signed an agreement with Ånge municipality, the owner of a new industrial site Alby Östra, regarding options to buy the land at the site needed for the planned 3000 tons per year rainbow trout farm.
The company announced that they have received SEK 2,660,000 from Almi Invest, Sparbanksstiftelsen Norrlands Riskkapitalstiftelse and 2 private investors.
